Gareth Abraham

Gareth has worked at the intersection of accounting, tax and technology for over 20 years.

In the UK, helping the UK accountancy profession to optimizing technology and the adjacencies of people and processes Gareth has worked with sole practitioners through to the Big Four.

In recent years, Gareth has also worked internationally with leading global banks and global crypto exchanges to make sense of their reporting obligations and deploy technology solutions to address them. It’s in this context that he started acquiring knowledge of crypto, and the rising standards in reporting and transparency on the corporate reporting side, partly as a proxy for trust.

Gareth also contributes to working groups with the likes of HMRC and FCA.

Seeing an opportunity to educate and build solutions for the private client side of the evolving reporting dynamic, Gareth works at Recap leading the commercial effort.

Gareth is also a Non-Executive Director.
