Does the price include tax reports for previous tax years?

Yes. All paid plans include unlimited downloadable reports for all previous tax years, as far back as your data goes. Unlike some competitors, we don’t charge per report – simply subscribe to a paid plan and get access to everything you need to file for both past and current tax years. Our free plan allows you to preview your taxable capital gains and income for each tax year, but downloading reports requires an upgrade.

How do Recap's accountant plans work?

Recap's sharing portal is free to use. Client's can manage and pay for their own Recap subscription or accountants can choose to administrate. We offer accountant packages with bulk pricing at a discounted rate. Please contact us for more information.

Can I upgrade my Recap subscription?

Of course! You can upgrade at anytime in Settings. You'll just pay the upgrade cost for the remainder of your subscription period - if you need a hand just contact us.

How does the free plan work?

You can access all of our features and preview your tax position on our free plan. You'll need to upgrade to a paid plan to download your tax reports.

How does your transaction limit work?

Each individual transaction imported into Recap is counted as one transaction, no matter what the activity type. The total number of transactions imported for all years count towards the transaction limit. This is reflected in the generous transaction limits of our plans.

Why is Recap an annual subscription not monthly?

Recap tracks your portfolio all year round, enabling you to take a proactive approach to tackling your taxes. Login to Recap throughout the year to understand your tax situation so when tax season swings around you'll be prepared not stressed.

Is Recap's Pro plan really unlimited?

Yes! Please note that although our Pro plan has no cap, users with millions of transactions may notice a slower performance as the technical limits of the browser are reached.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all debit and credit cards. We are also happy to accept Bitcoin payments but they are handled manually at the moment. Chat to us via support to set this up.
