FAQ
Questions
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all debit and credit cards. We are also happy to accept Bitcoin payments but they will be handled manually at the moment. Chat to us via in-app support to set this up.
What counts towards the transaction limits?
Every transaction - exchange buys and sells, deposits, withdrawals, spends etc.
Can I upgrade my plan?
Of course. When you exceed your transaction limit you can upgrade your current plan by paying the upgrade cost for the remainder of your subscription period.
I have more than 25,000 transactions. Can I still use Recap?
You’ve been busy! We offer custom plans for very large datasets. Before you buy, we want to make sure the Recap app can process your data and meet your needs so please contact us via in-app support, or by using the links below.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! Our Launch Pad plan is free and supports up to 100 transactions, however you will need a paid plan to generate your tax reports.
Which countries do you support?
We currently support the UK and use HMRC’s rules relating to cryptocurrency taxation. Other tax jurisdictions will be coming soon.
I don’t understand cryptocurrency tax. Can you help?
The Recap tax guide, written by fully qualified UK accountants, is a great place to start. However, we would also always advise you to speak to a qualified tax professional about your specific circumstances before acting upon any of the information.
