Recap is Tolley's 2026 Tax Technology Award Category Winner

On May 14th 2026, Recap won **Best Tax Technology Product** at the prestigious [Tolley’s Taxation Awards](https://www.taxationawards.co.uk/website/18643/shortlist/), one of the UK tax industry’s most respected recognition programmes. The field, as ever, was very strong and we were honoured to be included.

The awards celebrate excellence and innovation across the profession, bringing together leading advisers, firms, and technology providers from across the UK tax ecosystem. 

To win, among such strong competition is a significant milestone for both our team and our mission.

## **Recognition for a Different Approach**

From the beginning, Recap has focused on building tax software people can genuinely trust.  We’re privacy-first, technically rigorous, and designed around real-world compliance needs.

Initially known for crypto tax, Recap has increasingly evolved into a broader capital gains tax platform, helping users and advisers manage reporting obligations across both digital and traditional assets, including stocks and shares.

That evolution reflects a simple reality: investors increasingly hold mixed portfolios spanning crypto, equities, ETFs, and other investments, but tax reporting remains fragmented, complex, and difficult to navigate.

Recap’s goal is to simplify that.

Our platform is designed to help users understand and manage capital gains tax obligations with greater clarity, accuracy, and confidence, while maintaining the high standards of privacy and transparency that have always defined the business.

## **Why This Matters**
